Fished the Waco Crappie Tournament Saturday, Came up short with 23 fish @ 16 lbs.

Had some minnows left so took the kids and caught 10 more at sunset.

Grew up fishing those same boat slots at that same marina. Can't beat a little time soaking some minows with my Ol' man. Good memories.

Good effort... fire up the peanut oil!

The winner had over 26 lbs. We were on them, they were just the wrong size. Them old men been fishing that tournament for decades and have more brush piles then I had minnows.

Nothing like bobbers and minnows with the kiddos.

You didn't win the tournament but you made some GREAT memories with the kids and that's worth more than the any payout of the tournament!!!
Not only that you and the family will have some good eating.
