Well after 8 yrs and no deer lease I will finally get on one thanks to my neighbor. My old hunting grounds are back. Mitchell County, SW of C-City. The perks? yr round access for deer, hoards of dove, ducks yes ducks, sandhill cranes, feral hogs, quail, varmits, wabbits etc. The parcel has 5 tanks. My idea of tanks was water troughs, these are actually more like ponds. One section (640 acres), 3 hunters. Immediate family can go out with me. Thrilled on that cause the wife just took up hunting. Brand new cabin with toilet and shower! The lease is exactly one hour from my house to the campsite. 3 feeders and blinds are already in position and yes I can bow hunt. The price? well below the regular 2 gs, matter of fact closer to one g. Yes Im doing the happy dance. So looking forward to kicking rocks around this yr. This place backs up to the infamous card playing ranch

So are you going to be "the" neighbor to the East or West now? Congrats, sounds like a great place Just on the north end of the King of Hearts  Not sure how great the deer will be. It sure will be fun to watch and wait though.
