Worked my butt off today clearing some thick shinnery with a chainsaw. It broke when I was about half way done and I finished with an axe. It was solid shinnery oak from the blind to the feeder. Im beat!! What do you think?

The shinnery is thick and we wanted a feeder back in there and not to open. I'm not planning on adding a pen. You can't drive to it either. It will be a pain in the butt to fill but I'm hoping the lack of traffic and heavy cover will convince a big boy to step out. Pigs may be a problem but the feeder is very sturdy.

The view of original feeder from same blind with large pen.

Yes, two 150+ bucks taken last season. This place is also just down the road from DocBaily on here who took a 173. The main reason for the move is because there are two of us hunting it this year instead of one. The new feeder I set up was in another location visible from the same stand but a little close to where we are wanting to set up a third feeder and stand.

When my chainsaw broke and I went to the axe my "work zone" got much larger. Lol

Since you cant drive there you better hit the stumps with some round up once it gets hot or you will be needing to clear it every year.
Nice set up, hope it pays off for ya.x

Looks good. But why not keep a feeder at the old location and just add a new feeder at new location?
Yes... You will be feeding the same deer at both locations.
I agree with your thinking that BIG boy would fill more secure eating at the new location but when the rut kicks in it will be hard to get a shot off at your new location before he runs the does back into the brush.

Great point!

I did leave it. There are three feeders total and two blinds.
