I'm sure this has been discussed before, I am wondering if a suppresser affects the accuracy of a high powered rifle(243,308)

If it flies it dies,If its brown its down.

It will cause a POI shift to some degree but will also typically reduce group size

IMHO, it should not affect accuracy of the gun… obviously if suppresser is properly made and installed.

Absolutely! Once you shoot suppressed you will never want to go back.

My can only causes a very very slight poi change . And not on all my rifles . My unmoddified savage .308 shoots one hole groups at 100

Your pet load may change due to a difference in harmonics, just as a brake can. Most people remark at how much suppressors eliminate recoil, which is shown by many long range shooters, and I think it's true.

Live right. Do right. Demand the same in others.
Screw off. Lie and cheat. Have no regard for the actions of others.

You tell me which takes, and ultimately makes, a Man.
