OK I have been playing with laminating.. I finally made a checkerboard insert.. Its no where near perfect so I think it will stay on my hall of shame duck call display in the house.. I have really enjoyed getting out of my box but I just could not resit putting some kinda bone on this insert.. Sycamore, Walnut Burl & Red wood burl laminates capped with Camel Bone and insert is made of Hedge with a ca finish.

Not going to lie. That insert looks kinda busy. Sharp contrasts between wood colors and it looks good but, still too busy.

Let me know when you can do a herring bone design. I think that would look pretty sweet if you had the right woods together.

To be honest, you don't give yourself enough credit.

To be honest, you don't give yourself enough credit. You can definitely see the craftsmanship that goes into his calls. That's a lot of hours for one little piece of wood

Pretty busy for my taste but that's why they make chocolate and vanilla! A++ on creativity, and workmanship! I may be out of line by asking but do you make calls for the public? Not on here much so I'm unfamiliar..

Got to be some of the most elaborate work on calls. I like what you do very much.
OMG, this is the best slumber party ever!

Really cool looking call. Checked out some others on your sight. Definitely have n artist quality to them. I'm not trying to start anything but do you do your tone boards? Just curious what kind of sound your getting. Any sound files?

Just curious what kind of sound your getting. Any sound files? No problem at all, I do make my own tone boards. You can find a video on my face book page "triple shot game calls" I make every aspect of my calls. Robert A.

I like the laminate, even on guns
If I put my wife in a high fence will her rack get bigger?
