Bought 6 of these from Otis leather. We used them for the last hunt of the season and they were great. The pouch for you license keeps the ducks and owner tied together...

How supple is the leather? I've been thinking about buying a nice leather strap but, the ones I've seen have been pretty stiff. I really don't want to have to break one in to put birds on.

I got erniejs, here on the forum, to built me one this year and it's freaking sweet. It has my name and my dogs initials on it and if I need to, I could pull someone out of a ditch or a mud hole with it. It's for real and never going anywhere. First time I used it, it worked flawlessly.

I got some from John at Otis for my groomsmen. I need one for myself now.
