My uncle in Kansas has asked me if I can get him and his neighbor (another land owner) a hog hunt for him to shoot a pig or 2. I know several of my buddies have deer leases but so far it has been a no go (either feeders went empty after deer season or nobody can hunt until spring turkey). Well my uncle will be down the first weekend in April 5th-7th and I need to get things wrapped up. I need a place with lodging we can bring our own food. Semi-guided at the most, he has hunted for 35+ years and I grew up hunting with him in Kansas. He has farmed for the same amount of time and is familiar with tracking and cleaning game. I dont need a lot of frills. He has offered to trade a turkey hunt in Kansas on his land in return or I will pay for the trip. I also could trade guns, ammo etc.
