I have a few traps on the ranch that I catch hogs in regularly. I normally use soured corn or a soured feed mix of some sort. My problem is the cows eating my bait or getting in the trap. Calves are curious by nature I understand that. Game cam showed the cows eating the soured corn I spread around the trap. I'm feeding more cows than pigs lately.

My question is, is there an effective hog bait that the cows won't touch?

String three strands of barbed wire across the opening of the trap. Cows won't go in but pigs will.

Participating in a gun buyback program because you believe the criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you believe the neighbors have too many kids
