Very nice, was curious how your lift kit was holding up? Recently picked up a cart myself and was considering doing the block style lift as well. Is yours 36V or 48V? I was concerned with power going up and down terrain.

We have a 1983 Ezgo Marathon 36V with a 5" block lift that has held up great !

Be sure and have good batteries and it will go up & down most terrain grin

Good to know, was also considering upgrading wires to help out. Read your post about the wire upgrade helping so that's on the list.

Looking good, like the "accent" in the paint job! pretty sweet, gonna get some new cables ordered, and may need new batteries we will see what happens after I replace the wires. Also gonna get a lift kit/tire combo. Looking at another cart that is 48V that needs new batteries. So the plan is to have his/hers hopefully the wife doesn't kill me!

I'm gonna get a battery tester and keep an eye out for some good used batteries. I'm considering heading to Georgetown to pick up some used batteries for $300, (4x12V Trojans) for the 48V. They're sold by a golf cart dealer up there, gonna check locally first of course. Thanks again for the information your cart is looking good, gives me inspiration to get the current one going.

Be careful on the good used batteries & buy them new if ya can, check craigslist in your area for Trojan's .

Also oven cleaner works great when cleaning corrosion & rust in the battery compartment grin

Good luck on your restore and call me anytime Fitmedic up

Thanks Udamdan, I'm keeping an eye out. Been looking online for lift kit and tire combo. Thought I may have found a cheaper seperate set but the tires were 25" which will not fit under the 4" lift kit. I'll have to stick with the combo kit for now. Did you install a new controller in your cart?
