Here is the smoker I built out of a 55 gallon drum.



8.5 pound smoked at 225 for 14 hours



Finished product



Well I'm off to sleep off my food hangover.

It's the first one ive smoked and man it was delicious. Can't wait to do some ribs and a brisket. The UDS worked great kept steady 225 for the whole cook. It got up to 325 once but I just smothered the coals a bit and it reduced it. I think for my first one it turned out great.

I grew up on pulled pork. I still prefer it to brisket.

Haha na it's a kit from big poppa smokers .com all you have to do is supply the 55 gallon steel barrel and labor.
