What have yall had the best luck with? Four way, Plates, Extended tubes? ect? Thanks

Extended tube. I have had really good luck with the big horn feeders. Put at least 2 about 20-30 feet apart so that several bucks can feed at once when they are in the their summer groups. We found that the bigger deer dont like to stand nose to nose when feeding

It is a four way with a platform. I've only used spinners in the past so first spring to feed protein. Hope it works. I'll put a camera on it in a few months.

if they are fed out of anything other than an all seasons they grow pencil horned racks and will die at 3 years of age.

We use tubes but to each his own--and budget can play a role. You want to use something that can feed as many mouths as possible to prevent bullying and crowding--but you don't want to feed everything (hogs, coons, birds).

These had to be refilled after 3 weeks. We got the deer coming in now. each barrel holds 300 pounds and I have 2 of these set up.

The best feeder is the one that deer can eat a lot of feed from in a short period of time. Tube type feeders are not that type of feeder. Flat plate style are better than tube type to allow deer to eat easily at any age. An open top trough type used to feed cattle is the best but not the best due to being open to the weather. Nothing is coon or varmit proof when it comes to feeders. I like to use feed pens when ever I can to keep hogs from hanging around or tearing up feeders. You put a feeder out to let deer eat when they want and as much as they want, not as a bandaid.
