Hi Everyone,

My name is Matt, this is my first post on here. Live in Austin and love to hunt!

I have the PowerDogg and I dont really get a chance to go calling much but am going to make a concerted effort to do some 'yote calling this turkey season. Do you guys just turn it on and let it run or do you stop and start at certain time intervals?

Welcome Matt. I'm interested too. I usually just let mine run till I see something. The thing is I never see anything frown

At least anything worthy of mentioning.

I probly call one in one out of every 5 setups, and I typically leave it running too...Just curious if someone has had more success one way or the other. I hunt in Comanche, and there are lots coyotes and foxes around.

I usually leave mine running but will turn way down the back up periodically and change the call when it's really low and go back up and has worked well for me on grays and bobcats. I hunt in brownwood and in mills county we should get together one hunt. Coyotes that's a diff story. We called in a double last night and my sequence was raspy woodpecker for 5 min then nothing for 3 min then I did some male challenge and male barks because they are pairin up right now. We saw eyes across the field then I turned a low baybee cottontail and here they came in to about 200. My cousin missed and that was the end lol.
