Does anyone have a pair or ever used them? I have read some pretty good reviews and am strongly considering buying a pair. I already have two of their scopes that Im very impressed w/ and love the lifetime warranty.

Very good for the money.

The chasis is a little big for my liking, but the optics are very good.

The only concerning aspect maybe the weight itself, in my opinion.

When I bought a pair of binos a year ago the short list was the Vortex DB 10x42 or the Leupold Cascade BX-2 10x42. To me there was not much difference it the optics between the two but I chose the Leupolds over the Vortex because like Skylar said the Vortex were bulkier and heavier.

I stepped up this year and got a pair of vortex talons. I looked through a lot of binos before buying and felt these were the best bang for the buck. They work great in low light and in sunlight they really pop. However, this is my first pair of binos....so I don't have any experience with other brands other than the store demo. I did spend a good 30 minutes looking through everything from bushnell to Swarovski and like I said the vortex came out as my favorite.

I did not like the leupold binos at all, thought they were worse than say bushnell or Nikon...looked through them a few times and just put them back (which shocked me) and that was several steps in price range too.

The bushnells were right there with the diamondbacks but I thought they felt really cheaply made with their plastic make. Nikons were prob my third choice in the 200 dollar range. Stepping up to the 400-500 range the talons were a good blend of quality and price. I didn't see a huge difference in the step up from 500-600 to 1000+ glass. I am sure there are a lot of differences, but the inside of a store can only get so far with low light and such things. In the end, I chose the talons, got a lifetime unquestionable warranty, and couldn't be happier.
