I let a now former friend borrow my Brute Force 750. Big mistake. I had to pick it up from his house 150 miles away. When I got it home, I noticed my trailer had been wrecked, the ATV wouldn't start, 2 of the tires were flat and the other 2 were really low. The tires are brand new. I located a few holes that I was able to plug, but I found a bunch of small pin holes throughout all 4 tires. I've never used Slime before. Looking for opinions and experience with it. I hope this is not a topic like 270 vs 30-06.....

Definitely like it. Put a little more in each tire than they recommend and be sure to run it a mile or so right after you put it in.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

It works but it has an expiration date. It still works after the expiration date, but not as well.

We have 4 ATV and one mule plus 3 tractors and numerous trailers in Erath Co., lot of mesquite and rusty nails. Father in law likes Slime but I prefer Berryman's.

I use slime for the little holes, and plug the big holes. Got 12 years on the tires on my Yamaha. Today one of them suggested to me that it needs help (it was a bit low).
Couple of years ago a neighbor had a hole the size of a 22 bullet in his right rear truck tire. It went flat right in front of my barn and he could NOT find out how to get the spare tire out. Geez. I had plenty of green slime, so I slimed the tire. Worked great, even on a big hole like that. He left and drove 150 miles back to Houston at 70 miles per hour (against my recommendations).

Slime works great in atv tires. I've used it for years and picked up too many thorns to count. Use to plug tires before finding slime, but not anymore. Great product.

Look at a company called multi-seal. Works fantastic. I use it on tractors, atv's, trucks, trailers and lawn mowers. It has fibers in it that clot and dry in the hole. It's also a whole lot cleaner than the slime and will last the life of the tire. I have bought enough to do everything I own and the demo that I saw sold me on it. The guy drives a railroad iron through a skid steer tire. Turns the tire with the hole facing down and seals the hole like nothing ever happened. This skid steer tire had over 300 holes in it and did not leak. Impressive stuff. http://www.multi-seal.com/

Slime works great- have it in the tractor, trailers, 4-wheelers and the Mule. It will lose effectiveness over several years but just add more. Oh- and good move on making the friend a "former" friend....

Sounds like your former friend is slime.
