Has anyone ever had success with the Academy Thro n Grow (Brascias, Clover and New Zealand Brascias) or Bio Logic Clover, Oat/Wheat and Brascias mixture? I just bought about 4 bags of each for my Spring & Fall food plot. I plan on using the same soil base that was plowed last fall for an oat food patch. Unfortunately the oats came up only about 6" last fall before burning out.
Academy was carrying this stuff at 75% off so not a ton invested; just curious if it will come in with ample rain. I'm in SW Young county.

I would plant for a fall plot
Was this the Lewisville store?
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

I havent had much luck with that kind of stuff around here rain being so spotty the past few years and Ive tried a couple of diffrent brands, I usually have a good turnout if I mix my own I go to the local feed store and get a few pounds of Turnips, a couple bags of seed oats and some wheat seems do do better with less rain and doesn't cost much.

I've used it before, but always plow the plots before planting. It will bring the deer in until about mid Nov and then they move on to acorns.

Good stuff, I plan on breaking up the soil and broadcasting these seeds, hopefully right before some rain...

DQ, I've had pretty good success with Tractor supplies mix, it has wheat, Rye, peas, other good stuff. The biggest problem has been rain. But, when it rains it comes up good.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.
