I found a lady who has 50 acres in Rockdale to lease for 3000.00. Its high but she needs the money to pay her back taxes. She said she would go for 2 or maybe 3 yrs with exclusive rights to who leases it. I.E. bring who you want, camp hunt shoot 4 wheel etc. The property has a tank and is surrounded by ranch land. I want in to just have somewhere to shoot and do classes once in awhile. She says there are hogs and deer and doves but its obviously too small to support much. That being said I want a few people to pool funds and have a place to breath some nitro fumes without someone telling me what to do. No more than 10 people. Any takers PM me please. Thanks

Her needing the money doesn't dictate the value.

Total ripoff, and I usually side with the land owners. Don't pay it.

Not intended as a hunting lease, cmon a little common sense here. The point was for a little space for a few people to be able to get outside, do some shooting, camping, maybe shoot a few dove for a price most can afford. Not everyone can justify a few grand for a lease only he\she can use just to hunt and still buy the groceries. Ive seen a bunch of ads from people who just want somewhere to be other than home. Kind of a snootie response yall.

I get what you're trying to do. I might advertise as a shooting/camping lease. Varmints and hogs could be shot on sight. For deer I would say you'd take no more than 3 or 4 per year off the place TOTAL. So, maybe each member has the right to take ONE deer every other year.

Make it clear that it's not so much a deer lease as a place to hang out.

We had 11 acres growing up; had a blast just getting out there.
