Gonna post a couple cell phone pics. 1st one is my phone zoomed in all the way and 2nd is my cell phone thru my binoculars. Have done it a lot, actually works pretty good. This bird flew into my dads tree in Stanton.

If you are able to remember stupid stuff the next day, your doing it wrong.
At least anything worthy of mentioning.

Looks like a Mexican Parrot of some sort(?) West Tx would be the far northern boundry of their range. Might be a wild bird, but I'm guessing ferel.

I heard that. Those are definetly not used to cold. Might be better if he didn't make it. Not an indigenous animal and they are more aggressive than native birds.

Looks kind of like a cross between a black face and quaker parrot.

That is a Green Cheeked Conure. I owned one for a little while. I was the only one that could handle him anymore cause he would bite the tar out of my wife. Finally ended up giving him to my sister. But 100% sure that is what that bird is.

My son had one for a few years, and that thing just about pierced my ear a few times. Thats why we no longer have that devil bird. I hear they taste like chicken...

I used to have a Sun Conure when I was a kid....and I remember it getting a little overzealous in its nibbling as well. LOL

Maybe Nighthunter could come up with some Green cheeked Anure Tacos with roasted Pine nuts and Ancho chilis with some fresh peas and pearl onions smothered in Bacon Truffle sauce.

Those used to over run the power lines and transformers in Everman Texas. There used to be an aviary just South of there that the Dude died, and they just turned all the birds loose. Is that where they all came from?

That is a Nanday Conure. Most liked escaped or release by "accident". They are very loud.
