Okee so I have had a little problem making a coyote commit fully to the calls. Each time I go I can get one to come check out what's going on but not fully commit to where I can get a shot on one. I have got them into 300 yards that I am comfortable shooting but they tend to duck in and out of trees not giving a clear shot. We set up where the wind can not bust us without them exposing them self into the open. I use a fox pro with a variety of mouth calls which has worked on foxes cats and stuff like that but cannot make a coyote commit to the call. These places have never been called either. I was wondering if there is any certain tricks of the trade y'all would be willing to share.
Thanks, Kye

how far away are you putting the caller from your position? Too close may be an issue, make sure you are in a position that is hard to spot, 50-100 yards from the caller/decoy is my norm, but i've had the decoy closer depending on the terrain. Always have your back against brush or something to break the outline. And one thing about calling, don't move, even scratching your nose can give you away.
