Hello everyone. I am an avide hunter and have been ever since I can remember. I grew up in Arkansas hunting deer and waterfowl. I am moving to Houston to start a new job on the 25th. I am looking for somewhere to get into a hunting club/lease or public land to hunt. any advise would be great. Thanks a lot.

Lots of good bowfishing in the area if you think you would like that

Welcome, pretty new myself... All I have been able to find similar to that in Arkansas (I'm from Memphis, TN) is Dove and Duck. Deer hunting would be called Bait hunting (in TN) for the most part. I'm looking into dove, duck, quail, and hog myself if I can ever find a place.

Navasot I have never been bowfishing. I like bow hunting so I would probably like that also

Big Joe. I am sure I wont find anything similiar to home as I am part of a management club for deer back home and we farm 5000 acres in the mississippi fly way across the Arkansas river from Stuttgart. But I would just like to find a place that is decent as its too far to go home to hunt all the time and I know i will want to be hitting the woods and duck blind often.
