I'm just south west of dundee. Was out this weekend looking for sheds. Found one from last year, but saw bucks still with horn. I bet next week they wil be coming off.

I looked at a property directly south of Holiday, maybe 10 miles or so, last year but decided against it due to numerous concerns.. May have turned out ok, but I did not see a deer during the entire 4 hours of driving the place. Hope your luck is better than mine.. I hear of and see big deer killed out that way.

i have been hunting out there for over 8 years now. we are about 10 miles south of holiday off 368.we get alot of pictures all year of some really nice deer but they seem to go noctornal when rifle season starts. every year we do manage to get a couple of decent bucks though. we are leasing 1800 acres on the parish ranch and we lease directly from the land owner and not one of those places with all the crazy rules.good luck

years ago I had lease in southern Archer. deer were thin, pressure was high, and they did go nocturnal. There are several quality 140-160 deer in the area, chances of getting on them?

A few still have their antlers in the area, at least in Northern Archer/Southern Wichita.

I hunt just east of Windthorst...four corners in Clay county.
I grew up out there...lots of big deer...lots of pressure.

Did a ton of walking the last two days and didn't find any sheds. I did see some bucks still with bone.
