The deer famy have antlers that shed annually.
Blackbuck are a horned animal, horns are not shed, except pronghorn antelope which do shed them.

They sure do and if you kill one near the end of season in states where it runs until November be careful with the horns as they might shed into your hand if you move the buck around by them.

I think I was about 50 or 60 yards. I kept a tree between me and him as I approached. His does busted me though and they lit out. They got his attention and I was able to get fairly close. Then he busted me.

Just noticed something though. I might need to take down the last pic. He appears to have camel toe and that against the rules.

Pronghorn are not antelope. Need to be careful when trying to educate them, and all they shed is the sheath, not the whole horn.
