Every year I get poison ivy 5,6,or 7 times a year. My doctor finally asked me, "why don't you just stay away from it?" Because I don't have pigs running up and down my street! This year is no exception, I usually look for the leaves but with it being winter and all I couldn't see leaves. But the vines and stems have the same poison stuff! Sooo, I just figured out I moved my stand and feeder right in some poison-something-or-other!!

Find a pharmacist that does compounding. Ask him if he has the formula for poison ivy preventative serum. Wife & I have been taking it for several years and it works for us. There is also some shower soap called Tech-nu that will help clean your skin of any ivy contamination.

Go to "Bailey's" website. They are specialist in timber cutting equipment and have several varieties of soaps, ointments, meds. Remember what works well for some folk does not work for others.

I use Ivy Block lotion on my hands and forearms and it does a pretty good job. Think we get it at Walgreens.
