I started a relocation program today with this one---bout 2 miles up the road.

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Relocate from woods to oven. Had it a few times and it wasn't bad.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Regulations on furbearer relocation, especially raccoons.

Raccoons. The rules concerning removal of raccoons from premises. The Texas Department of Health has instituted a statewide rabies quarantine. It is currently illegal for a person to transport coyotes, species of fox indigenous to North America, and raccoons, to, from, or within the state. Exemptions from this restriction are provided for peace officers, individuals hired or contracted by state or federal agencies or local governments, or employees of zoos or other institutions accredited by the American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums. Transport for release by any of the above requires that the animal be released within a 10-mile radius or within 10 miles of the city limits of where it was originally captured. The following special provisions have been provided for raccoons: in addition to the list of exempt persons cited above, the following individuals can also transport raccoons: rehabilitators and educators permitted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and pest control operators licensed by the Structural Pest Control Board. Except for educators, transport by these individuals is restricted to within a 10-mile radius or within 10 miles of the city limits of where the animal was originally captured. Rehabilitation is allowed. The above information concerning the statewide rabies quarantine may be accessed at the following webpage:

Tie a rope on it and throw the trap in the creek. Dump the carcass on the bank and let the vultures enjoy.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Relocate him to the next life maybe. Too many of them, the world wont miss a few coons.

This one has been on the books for well over a decade or more - then euthanize the coon (legal) as opposed to releasing it.
