Too bad. Not like we were expecting it but it's still sad when you actually get the final word of no water being released...it will probably be a repeat of this past season come next year.

wonder what the economic impact will be for the prairie area due to this shut off

Will be significant. i dont know if it can handle 2 years in row. A mill in Eagle Lake closed after last years cut off.....

We will see a lot of milo and corn on the prairie. Lots of far,era will be planting just to insure. And the farmers with wells will lease their land to the highest bidder.
