The closest I have come to getting a band is when I almost ran over two banded resident geese today in my neighborhood today. So my question is, if I did accidently run them over would it be acceptable to take the band? If so, would it be more proper to put the bands on my lanyard or my grill guard?
It's not skybusting, if you make the shot.

I'd put 'em on your key chain and paint a little "two-goose" nose art on the vehicle. lol

When you do it, make sure to post pics if the dead geese, bands, and your license plate.
All seriousness , I had a resident fly into the side of my truck when I lived in OH. One if my hippie neighbors said I ran over it and called the law. Luckily I left it where it died or mr green jeans woulda wrote me a big fat ticket.

Now if I wanted to snipe them with a .22 in a city park, I would definitely contact Foiles for pointers.

As long as you drive around with your lanyard hanging from your rear view, it is acceptable to put road kill bands on your lanyard.

might be hard, not sure if most birds let you get close enough to throw the net.

might be hard, not sure if most birds let you get close enough to throw the net. depends on how much time you put into taming them with bread

the banded ones are very picky and have not found the right combo yet. the rest in the neighborhood like a 3/1 wheat to white ratio
