Anyone have any suggestions? Not much to speak of in Fort Worth. Best we have is Eddie V's as they have great crab, lobster, oysters, shrimp, but you sure pay for it.
Jon Bonnell is about to open a place called Waters at the end of the month and I have high expectations. However, I'd like to know of some others.
Any places in Dallas that are open at lunch? I'm over there a decent amount lately. More concerned about quality than I am price.

Kenny, have you tried Rockfish on Hulen between IH 20 and IH 30? Wife and I like to eat there occasionally. Where is Bonnell putting in his new place? Gotta be good.

I could almost hit a golf ball to that Rockfish from my house. I've had hit and miss experiences there, but maybe I should give it another shot. Bonnell took over the Baily's Prime space in west 7th. He's opening March 29th. I had some fish at Bonnell's last week and if that's any indication, Waters will be incredible. On a diet and eating alot of fish lately. Thanks for reminding me of Rockfish. I drive by it several times a day, but forget about it. I was at Tom Thumb an hour ago and had to drive right by it.

If you want to get the freshest and arguably the best seafood in Dallas stay away from the chains etc. The ones listed below get their fish and much of their seafood daily from the gulf, not a local vendor. Expect to pay for it.
Cafe Pacific, Highland Park - Killer Salmon
S&D Oyster Company - excellent snapper and shrimp
Work hard, play hard, love without reserve....you can rest in heaven when the journey is over.
