I have a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara soft top 2dr and I am trying to find some sort of easy access gun rack to put in it. I am considering something like what is used in the back windows of pickups but nicer and it will have to mount on my tailgate instead. I read some reviews of one from Cabela's that mounts on the back of the rear seat, but we fold ours up sometimes to get larger things home like on grocery day to and I'm afraid it would have to be removed each time. What does everyone else use. It is a regular two door version so space is limited.

I have a Big Sky single gun rack mounted up top and one of those UTV gun racks that bolt to the floor in the rear. Here's a couple of pics of the overhead one:

Where did you buy the Gameguard camo wraps for your rollbar? Bought bulk material and had an upholstery guy make them, they were a little more than buying factory new ones.

I use the perfect rack....no modification to the vehicle and no tools required. Easy to take down.

Hey Billybob: The Perfect Rack is looking like the best option for me so far in a CJ with nothing overhead to bolt onto. Does the Perfect Rack stay put, or does it rattle around on rough terrain? Does it block your vision at all when rifles are in it?

By virtue of the design it can come loose as it slides to obtain length. I replaced the front bolt with a 1/4 -20 knobbed bolt with lock washers so I can tighten it down without using a wrench. I do not notice it coming loose or rattling driving on my property....if it loosens up it's generally on the hiway to and from the property with no guns in it. It does inhibit your rear view vision.

Thanks. I'm thinking that's the way to go, unless I come up with a way to do it myself cheaper.
