This past Sunday Ray sasser had a good article about bird dog art with bloddy tail. Good read if you missed it.

Couldn't get the story with out being a subscriber. Bloody tails on pointers are just part of the game in my book, when ever anyone I am hunting with mentions it, my standard answer is, and I am paraphrasing someone whose name I have long forgotten, "Its the badge of a pointer."

I like that. NOT seeing a bloody tail on my pointer, especially when WC hunting, is unusual.
