 How long can I keep meat in freezer?

I've had some hog in the freezer since June. Do you think it's still good to cook?

Unless you put bare un raped meat in the freezer then Yes it is certainly still fine.

Unless you put bare un raped meat in the freezer then Yes it is certainly still fine.

It's wrapped really well, but it has been in there since July. I usually eat it sooner, so I had no clue on how long it would keep.

should be fine if wrapped/sealed good. I have dug out stuff from the hidden areas of our freezer when doing an annual defrosting that was well over a year old. Easiest to thaw out in refrigerator and unwrap (or un-rape  )... if bad, there will be a noticeable smell.
