Would like to try some of the east Texas public land this spring. Any pointers on which counties to look at? Don't want any coordinates to your spots just ideas on which counties hold birds.

Where ever you decide to hunt, get a good topo map and be in shape to get as far away from roads as you can to get away from other hunters. Talk to the biologist over the area. They want you to kill birds.Talk to the people that work at the area yearround.
