My pond is about 50 yards from my feeder. Never expected to see wood ducks steeling my corn.

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Just came back from the blind. We saw 2 squirrels and 9 wood ducks. The ducks didn't come in to eat, they just walked around the pen. My grandson was with me and he had the sniffles. Got to see them walk in though.

Actually had some mallards do it in west texas this year. Nearest water hole at least 700-800 yds away. Did for a couple of weeks and then gone.

In the tower deer stand it is always nice to have these guys on the tree limbs looking back inside the window at me.

I used to have the same problem. I had to take my deer feeder down and move it to a different place because of it. If the wood ducks have found your feeder, they will clean it up before the deer have a chance. Little hoovers they are.

I've had sandhill cranes but never ducks. That's cool.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
