After talking back and forth with west-tex about the leases he was helping his rancher lease I made a trip to look, and man I am glad I did. It was everything he told me and more. In fact, I believe after riding looking and talking old west-tex may have been a little bit envious, just kidding. I feel like we made a great deal on the lease and also made a friend in west-tex. looking forward to getting back out there and enjoying the land. Thanks again west-tex!

Where is the location, if you don't mind sharing?

I use to hunt down in that area. Off of FM 1973. There were a bunch of quality deer out there in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. I wish I was hunting that area, again, but I don't miss the drive out there from Dallas.

Good luck on your new lease. I hope it turns out great for you.

Some good folks on the THF. Glad you got a good place to hunt.
