I'm heading out to white oak creek wma for the first time this weekend to try for some hogs and coyotes And maybe scout for turkey. Anybody been out there? Or know of any good spots? Any hogs or coyotes out there?

I hope not my freezer is empty. If no Piggys then i'll have to get out the coyote calls. I'm leaving in the morning coming back Sunday night. I'll post pics if I have any luck.

Lots of hogs in that wma but the pressure from people running there dogs have them spooked bad. Lots of rooting and tracks. But olny spotted them at night too bad we cant hunt hogs at night on public land. Hell i could of ran two of them over with my truck. Coyotes on the east side and northeast. I shot my first bobcat Sunday morning she came to a coyote pup distress call! Would have been a great mount but my AR in 308 blew a good chunk out. I'll be back agin to try for a hog. I think hog dogs won't be allowed next month.

hey Jug Head. To hunt on that WMA do you just need need your regular hunting license and Annual Public Hunting Permit? Did you see anyone else out hunting this weekend?

I have been thinking about going out there myself! How was it? Is there any open areas to call at all? They just started allowing predator hunting this past year and I was trying to get by there to look around before buying a permit.
And yes, that is what I have heard as well. It is hammered hard by hog dogs!
