Looking to buy some land in Dawson or lynn county. I understand they opened a mule deer season a few years back. Any feedback on the quality?

There have been a some 180 to over 200" Mule Deer killed in the past few years. I have a friend I know that has killed a couple.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

Appreciate it. I know that Gaines county and Martin county have some great ones, but little info out there about Dawson and Lynn. Cheers.

Texas Big Game Awards sight has picture from this season and in the archives back to around 2000 I believe by region. Of course these will only be the deer entered into TBGA contest. My friend and his buddy killed several good ones in Dawson in the last 3 yrs. 2010 they killed a 190+ and 200+.

Our sand and gravel guy hunts Dawson. Only has a half section. He scores every year.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.

I have lived in Dawson county all of my life I farm here there are some good muleys here just depends on what part of the county you are in west of lamesa all the way to Gaines county line is good and north west of lamesa from munger to Cedar lake is awesome hunting there are still some monsters thru that area. Lynn county has some good deer in it but no season yet hopefully in a couple years if you have any questions feel free to message me
