Sometimes the best way is to go to a commercial window/door company and get a stainless steel replacement track cover. Cut it to length "with the sliding door removed obviously while you are replacing the rollers " and you tamp the new cover down over the old one with a wooden or plastic mallet. Set the slider side back in place adjust the height of your rollers and it's as good as new. Sometimes better...The track covers usually come in 8' lengths.
