 Anyone ever hunt near Fairy, TX???

Hey guys, me & my pops are going to look at a lease this weekend out in Fairy Texas near glen rose. It's a 1000 acre lease with a few other hunters. I'm just curious if anyone has ever hunted near Fairy and what kind of success you might of had.

I know that area fairly well, my in-laws live in Glen Rose. Is the lease in Sommerville County or Hood?

I hunted south of Fairy about 15 years ago. Good numbers of deer and turkey. Didn't have hogs back then, but I'm sure that's changed. Average body size on a mature buck was 150 - 175 lbs and most racks were in the 125 - 135 range. Never saw anything bigger than a 145. That's all AR country now, so the antler sizes may have gone up some since then.

Fairy isn't That close to Glen Rose, it's south of Hico in Hamilton cty. Great deer country, lots of Turkey too.
