Got my new Foxpro Shockwave in last week and went to the deer lease last weekend to try it out. First evening, first stand with new caller. Right outta the box within 8 minutes called in this kitty at 50 yds. I was hunting on a sondero, he ran out of the mesquite and put his nose right on the Mojo Critter!!!

That's the correct way to initiate a calling unit. Great job!

I've always wanted to try a caller with the decoy. Does it make a big difference? From that picture it looks like they might have something to them.

That's awesome. What sound were you using? I have always heard that cats take longer to come in.

That's a big cat! Nice work.

What sound(s) where you using when he came in?

Thanks for the comments guys,
I was using the fox pro "cals cottontail" call.

As for the decoy, I am a true believer in putting a sight with a sound when possible. That's probably what pulled him in so quick and he might have even stayed in the brush and I never would have seen him.... I don't get to go predator hunting that much and have only a few kills under my belt but I can't wait to go back and try it again!

Good job! That cat is very nice looking. Unusual, but nice. And that's the same decoy I use. I added a longer peice of 1/4" all thread to it to make the stake longer. I hunt a lot of tall grass/weeds.

Mmmm Hmmm
