It was a long hard season but this one made it well worth it.

Thanks sir. Hate wounding an animal but it was one heck of a hunt.

Nice buck and great video.

I thought you missed also the buck reacted that way IMO. I would have done exactly what you did.

That was a good video and congrats on a nice buck.... I liked the Astros ball cap also!

Good video and nice Buck as all have noted!

How long did it take you to grow that scrub on your face, a day or two? crazy

Awesome video - I'm surprised the buck didn't curl up more at the shot. I've gut shot a couple and seen a couple others gut shot by friends and they seem to arch their back almost every time.

Anyhow, you found him and that's all that matters. That's about as nice a 7 point as I've ever seen.

The beard was about a 2 month growth. The bullet caught the bottom of his rib poked a hole in his stomach and then bounced down. I think that is why all the dust jumped up under him. I get pretty good buck fever and I think that is why I messed up the shot. Plus the stand is set up for someone that is 4 feet tall.

Great Video and great buck! I think you did a really good job of telling the story through your editing. I also commend you on your composure on the nice buck that never stopped moving... Lots of people I know would have tried to punch a bullet through the first bit of somewhat thin brush they saw.

Thank y'all for the kind words. That second buck was really nice and I actually had a shot at him at about 300 yards but he had walked out of camera frame.
