My last project is going to become my back porch desk, because of reasons explained here.

http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/u...sea#Post3983052

So I put this together today. It took a little longer than I wanted because I was having problems getting perfect angles with the miter saw. It still needs wood filler in some spots, a sanding, and a stain, but I'm happy with it right now. I'll post pictures when it's finished.

Not much lumber was needed

Looks good, what are you going to do with the finish?

You could burn it and polyurethane.

I would stain it with a self sealing "cedar" stain. rofl

I like the idea of the burn marks in the wood, I would then stain it rather than just seal it.

I meant to say that if anyone was interested in the plans shoot me an email. If you have the right tools this project shouldn't take more than 3 hours to build.

I'd appreciate a set of plans on that.

Thank you.

The plans can be found here and a PDF can be downloaded.

This isn't the best picture but it's pretty much finished now.

The top is white pine and the stain is dark walnut stain + poly.
