We saw a young mountain lion on our place just before winter last year. Others had seen a grown female lion about 2 miles from our place the day before so it was probable her cub and her making their way through a creek that runs through our place. Didn't get any pics though.

I got this pic. a couple yr. back near my waterhole on the Mule Shoe Ranch Brewster Co. Tx. It's a big cat Killing a Javelina . Have a few more pic's of Mt. Lion on this place if I can find them I will post .....Dusty.

I agree the camera is bad ,the waterhole pose is one of the best i have got at this spot. I think the one with the cat making a kill is best pose ,poor quality pic,again my junk. But you seldom get to see them make a kill. On my computer you can actually see blood on the left fron shoulder of the cat. Those Javelina will fight back a bit ......Dusty.

I think if I had a ground blind in Brewster County it would include a lot of chainlink ALL the way around it.

We have one running loose in our area. My neighbor thinks it ate his dog. Another neighbor said he saw it clear a 5 foot fence.

The same cam. caught a coyote sniffing the blood of the Mt. Lion kill .Kind of like shark's the smell of blood and the sound's of the struggle, bring's out the predator's .......Dusty.

There is a dead mt lion on I10 east of San Antonio, in the west bound shoulder about 200 yards east of cibolo creek.
