I can't really find any well priced turkey hunts in Texas. This will be my first time hunting. I have been looking and some of these hunts are very pricey.
If you know of a good price for a hunt could you link me
To the page or give me a contact email?
Thanks!!

I would say 1100 per person.
I have seen some that are 900 and 850. Was turkey hunting always that expensive? I also can't seem to find a hunt that isn't per person.

I feel that for 1100 a person, you could find a mediocre deer lease that also has turkey on it..... but that is the price of some of these hunts, and these prices are CRAZY.

If I decide to dayhunt my small ranch in Young county, it will likely be in the $400-$600 range for weekend, 2 Tom limit.

There's one on here near junction. Cleo2011 has it listed. $200 per weekend. I would do it if I didn't already have a place to hunt.

Not sure how to link. It's in the Land and Leases section on the 3rd page. Says Spring Turkey Hunts - Kimble County.

Hate to admit it but good turkey hunting spots at a reasonable price have become like good fishing holes, not many willing to share their favorite spots...good luck will pm you if I run across a good hunt in your price range. The one listed in the lease forum close to Junction, TX sounds like a good candidate.

This is from the guides/outfitters forum. I don't know this outfitter but the hunt is priced right if he has the birds.

"We are offering spring turkey hunts this season. All hunts are fully guided on private land.

We have access to properties in Foard, Cottle, Tarrant, Denton, Wise, Comanche, Haskell, Johnson, Montague, Fannin & Cooke couties.

Most guides are out of DFW so you can either ride with the guide, or meet him at the hunt location.

Turkey hunts are half day, from sunrise until noon. You will be allowed to harvest 1 Tom or bearded hen per day, each additional bird is $100.

We will be booking on a first come first serve basis.

Pricing:

$350/day Fully Guided
$100 each additional bird
-$50 discount when booking two or more days

$75 pickup/drop off from DFW airport
$50 Gun cleaning fee (to use our 12GA)

How about $300? I've never paid over 300 for a turkey hunt and been sucessful on every one of them. Of course, it was un-guided, but all included lodging. Deals are out there. Just have to do your homework to find them.
