So we have some land just west of Eagle Lake. I have seen hogs and deer but no signs of turkeys- what are the tell tell signs you have turkeys on your land? Thanks

Best way is to put out game cams. Kinda tells the whole story!

Get out after a rain and look for tracks around puddles. Easy to see and if the turkeys are there, odds are they will want a little drink.

Yes, I counted 28 birds in this flock. The big toms are seperate now, but were gobbling a bit already last week. Here's the same feeder at night full of hogs. Man, my feed bill....LOL

Just try to plant a food plot by spread casting the seed, those darn seed voltures will come running for the seed!

How can I tell if they are rio grande turkey or eastern turkeys. How do I tell if they are hens or toms before shooting at them

toms will have a red color to there head and a beard... and will be bigger... if your hunting durring the spring they will be strutting also... were are you located? if ur hunting san antonio they will be rios. and check your county listings for bag limits....should be four im thinkin.
