I'm bummed that I missed it. Looked like a pretty good turnout.

I wonder how many showed up in Austin and all over the country.
And, which state didn't? I assume it's Connecticut.

I went. Turnout was not what I had hoped for, about one or two persons per county at any given time. However, with lackluster promotion ....well, exactly. As I walked from the north-side capitol garage I noted there were two protests. One was anti-corporation, the other was pro 2nd amendment. I listened to the left speaker on the way in, I needed use the restroom. He used very benign verb-age until trying to tie corporatism to the 2nd Amd. at which point I realized we had a commie statist dressed up as Ben Franklin preaching a very non-nonsensical sermon. Not as bad as the divide and conquer language that PBO (aka the Prophesier of Academic Malfeasance) uses, but darn close. Barely could contain my laughter. Met sheriff Mack, a few aspiring "politicians" and some real good folks -it was good. I suspect many opportunities to protest in the days, months and years ahead.

I suspect that once they've confiscated the guns, nobody will be protesting much of anything.

You can still protest but it will cost you. At worst, you will be shot(middle East) at best you will be jailed (Russia).

2500 People plus at the Cap in Sacramento CA on the 19th. Austin needs more showing. I think Utah had 2K + at the Cap for them. Haven't seen the results from the other states.
