New Mexico just opened up a first come first serve ibex hunt for two nannies or immature billies in the florida mts.You can buy the over the counter licence starting on jan 9th. this will be a really cool hunt. They are woried about how many animals they have and they need to kill some. if you kill 2 you can take the heads to the game and fish dept and be put in for a drawing for a either sex tag in 2014. Just for your information. residents licence $111 non resident $1610

I got this email but didn't read it all. Is a guide required or for 1600 a non resident is good to go?

Good deal for residents. A little steep still for nonresident IMO.

15" or less. Which im wondering what happens if its 16". Ive hiked up into the floridas before and those goats are skiddish as all get out. its gonna be hard to tell 15" from 16" at 600 yards

you should be able to get within a 100 yards of a nanny or young billie without too much trouble. I'm not sure that its worth the tag price though

From my experience the females are the ones that are usually the lookouts. The males are usually playing "Grab A**" or chasing after the females. Kinda like human males. If you can judge the difference between 15" and 16" at any distance you are a heck of a lot better than me.

DUDE!!! Seriously!?!?!?!?!?

You can't use the word "KILL" !!!!

"HARVEST"!!! People "Harvest" animals!!! People do NOT Kill animals!!!

I sure hope you don't get into too much trouble.

They called my mom when I did what you did.
What's worse is when your dad gets home and your mom tells him!
