my buddy's got quite a few leases within 3 hours. They are all north of Snyder. PM me if you would like his contact information. PLENTY of pigs in the area (see my thread in the photos section titled "THE DESTROYER!". Some absolute toad whitetails and a few mulies. Not as high deer population as say ozona, but the quality is there.

I'm personally looking for something just a LITTLE closer and with a higher deer population. I've done the quality over quantity thing for a couple years and I'm ready to see ALLOT of deer.

I'm from midland lived there all my life now going to tech in Lubbock. I grew up hunting by alpine, jayton, and sterling city. We had a lease south of sterling city for 12 years. Never seen more deer in my life. Hunting in synder, lampasas, brady and around Abilene now. See lots of deer and good ones but no where near the numbers I've seen at sterling. I could get you the names and numbers of some people around there. Average deer there is a 130. We killed a few 160s every few years. Deer just don't get any age on them there but you'll see tons.
