Did anyone do the Hart Lions Club hunt this past weekend? We will be going to Hart on Friday for a weekend hunt, just was wondering if it was as bad as everyone expected it to be.

I spoke with some guys in the Longhorn Cafe in Hart after our goose hunt that were doing the Lion's club deal. They said they had seen a few birds and killed 4 by lunch. We killed several south of Dimmitt. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. I know it won't be a great or even a good year, but we really like going to the panhandle ever December to chase a few birds. By the way, did anyone happen to see any quail? Last year we found a covey, I actually bagged more quail than I did pheasant. That's not saying too much though.

I didn't see any quail, but that area isn't really known for them. I have seen a few around Olton this year. There is a little more cover for them down there.
