Hello. I deer and pig hunt on a small 125 acre lease in Caldwell county, about 8 miles south of McMahan. Lots of bucks this year. 2 nice 9 points and 2 nice 8 points. both 9 points were 4.5 y/o and the 2 8 points were 3.5. Anyone else hunt this area?

this is my first year to hunt in the county and shot a really nice ten point that went 165 gross was a real stud. we have a 250 acre place out by liton springs area. I really did not know what to expect, have hunted in comal and bandera counties but not going back now we have seen more bucks and a lot better bucks than we ever saw in bandera.

I know this is an old thread but are you guys still hunting this area ?

Guessing with 21 post between the two of them in 12 years. I doubt they’re still here often.
