Lot of sweat and blood to get this completed. I am happy about the finished product. Got a couple things to complete yet but it does look awesome. I think. 4' X 8' ground blind ready to take to the lease.

It is OSB. Got the panels from Home Depot with the realtree camo already applied. 15 Bucks a sheet.

Looks good. Make sure to seal all the cut edges or that OSB will expand and start falling apart when it gets wet. May even want to put some caulk or silicone on the joints to be certain they stay true.

Thanks all. Made some finishing touches. Used 3 tubes of caulking to seal everything up to include the rough edges on the OSB. I smoothed it all out and then put another coat of caulk over the top of that. Should be good. Fingers crossed. May need to deploy a buck bomb inside to get rid of the new blind smell. Think that will work? Know the deer will already be leery of a new structure on the lease.

They are indeed. I love'em. Thanks buddy. I used some Realtree Burlap I found at Academy to make these curtains. I can see through them. Hopefully the deer can't. Makes them Deerview windows look even better.

I have a similar blind with the realtree laminate. Been in the field now four years with no issue, just a bit of fading. I put metal roofers drip edge on the corners and caulked. No problems. Great blind you built!

Around $750.00 total cost with Deerview windows. Drop in the bucket for something I built myself.

Always got one naysayer. Can he build the same with top of the line Deerview windows? Carpeted shooting decks, gym style floor covering, overhead storage. Bet NOT! I built it myself to my specs and that makes it worth the $750.00. Besides, it's my money. I'll spend it as I want on what I want. IF your guy can build the same blind for $350.00 bucks then I will take 2 of them, no wait make that 3. Give them for Xmas presents to the other 3 guys on my lease. Send me his phone #. Anyways, here it is set up ready to hunt.
