Ok, here it goes. I am looking to make some duck hunting friends. I don't like putting myself out like this but for past couple years it's been hard to find friends to hunt and not sure if I know all the ways of doing it here as far as events etc. . I am honest as they come. Willing to buy into a duck lease or go public. I have a lot of equipment but no dog yet. I usually hunt Oklahoma and know a bunch of good spots to hunt there with my nephew but I need to find a place and/or buddy little closer to home that I can go to and get back at a decent hour same day.
I live in McKinney, 38 year old chiropractor by profession, married and have 18 year old daughter at Texas Tech and 12 year boy. Been duck hunting for about 4 years now and love it.
I'm not asking to find out your honey holes or anything like that. I have a proud reputation that i would like to keep intact. I would never ever fringe upon somebodys' space, belongings or nothing. I have made an enemy in my life and never tend to. I would rather hook up and generate new places public or private. I would just like to hook up with some good honest people, laugh and just enjoy the nature. Had a duck lease in northeast bonham but didnt produce well and sucked hunting by myself.
I very respectful of people things, character etc and I usually tend to give more than i. receive. I just like being outdoors and having a good time that can be talked for yeas to come.
I hope this does not come across as begging, more of just asking to make some new friends and ya never what might come of it.
Anyhow below is email , hope maybe to make some good friends and enjoy some outdoors and of course knock some ducks down. Thanks , Dawayne Drgourley@sbcglobal.net

Man I have to tell ya.....I like how you presented this thread too, and would like to extend an invite but after reading your intro you may not want to hunt with me because Sometimes when we hunt we do lie a little bit to one another,we say bad words,we chew and spit, share each others snacks we bring out to the blind without asking the other guy,and worst of all we have made a few enemies and sometimes if it goes down we would need you to have our backs,Guess you could call us some Ole Dirty Duck Hunters.
But some of us do have kids and wife, and we love our families therefore we are as careful as they come in the woods, so that we make it back home to our families. If you come out sometime, we have all the equipment that you need as well as a dog.
If you feel that I fit your mold then PM me sometime this season and if I'm not guiding a hunt on the day you want to go, I may have a spot for you to join us.

If you had posted on here in the last few years I could have hooked you up on Ray Roberts. There is some excellent public hunting there but beware the Barney Factor is off the chart.
I now live in NE Texas and am actively seeking new hunting compadres myself.
If you will send my an email I will help you out with some hunting locations to check out.
Good luck in your search.

That response needs an "adjustment". LOL GDogg, I see that you live in Liberty Hill. Do you happen to know any of the Football Coaches at the HS there? I know a few of them, or used too anyways.

Hey Dawayne! Hadn't heard from you since we all parted ways from that crappy lease up in Bonham. I moved on to better things the last two seasons. Hope things work out for you. I'll vouch for Dawayne. He's a good guy and fun to hunt with. He's hell on Ruddy ducks though. LOL.... Robert

Ok. Gonna answer back and comment on a few things. I have been overwhelmed with the responses I received from this post. AWESOME!!!! You guys rock and looking forward to making a lot of new friends and having some good times.
Free adjustments? Absolutely, I got a bag of those, ........ Say like about 6 of them daily. Lol.
Muddy foot: You can't offend me. I have grown up with some people of all kinds of makes and models. I have some dirty jokes myself. Lol. I've never been in a fight but I can't say that if someone setup 50 yds from my blind and sky busted my birds that it ,iChat be my first. Lol. MY PHILOSOPHY IS "I DON'T DO ONTO OTHERS WHAT I DON'T WANT DONE TO ME". It's worked so far. And one other thing my dad told me not to EVER do " Don't ever loan out your chainsaw, law mower or wife cause they never come back the same." Lmao. My dad is pretty country.
gdogg: I got ur back bro.
Yessir: definitely will and greatly appreciate and grateful for any advice.
Lucky ducker: HELLO, wassup my friend? Hope family and all is well. Thanks for the vouch. Greatly appreciate it. Actually about to get a ruddy duck done and set on my desk along with a blue bill I got off that lease.
Strobes: I'm with ya bro. Check.
Beaversnipe: that's awesome, let me know if you come across open spot or any other intel you might have. Cool and thx bro.
I went to a little shindig that JJ had two years ago and I thought was pretty awesome. Hope that still going on and if not then let's do it some more. Ya never know I might start us a local group of guys and have some fun and tell lies over a drink and some wings. Chicken wings that is. Lol.
