Almost here?? It has been here for a week come Saturday where the heck have you been. Forget the corn though, my pens look like they have yellow carpet in them. They are hammering acorns right now, and by the look of things that maybe the case well into the beginning of November.

First year in Mills County, leased last several years in Coleman County. Looks good at our place, very happy with the move. Food plots are coming along and look good now that we have gotten a bit of rain in the last month. Agree with the corn they are not hitting them as they did just a few weeks ago.

Don't bow hunt.... yet. Place was green 2 weeksa ago, should really be green with the rain. Tanks were down 3-4' so the should be coming up also
Have a couple decent bucks on camera.

Saw a lot of young bucks last weekend bow hunting. The acorn crop this year is unreal.

I grew up in zephyr and hunting mullin but big money has the places leased now. Still hunt birds and fish some of the best private lakes in the state. I just wish I could crawl up in my old tree stand for an afternoon. I have been seeing some really nice bucks between Comanche and mullin and again between mullin and brownwood. Hope yall do well over there look forward to following this thread.

We shot 4 doe on our managed property in western mills. There's deer everywhere out here. Record for our lease is 168. And normal would be 130-140
